Design session
On March 29-30, 2023, with the support of the regional educational and methodological center "Kostanay Daryny" KSU "Specialized school-lyceum-boarding school of information technologies" Ozat "for informatics teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, offline held a design session" Development of IT competencies of students and teachers in the context of the formation of the digital economy”.
The main goal of the event is to improve the quality of IT education by identifying and disseminating the experience of teachers in creating copyrighted educational programs of a specialized component, participation in Junior Skills championships of professional skills.
The participants of the event were 17 teachers of informatics of specialized and secondary schools of the North-Kazakhstan, East-Kazakhstan, West-Kazakhstan, Kostanay regions, the cities of Shymkent and Kostanay.
During this event, teachers shared their experience and best practices in this area. Informatics teacher of KSU "Secondary school No. 4" Sabanova B.A. presented her experience of working with children in the framework of extracurricular activities, and also presented the program of her course "STEM-technologies".
The design session for computer science teachers became a dialogue platform through which they could exchange their experience in developing students' IT competencies, new ideas, and author programs.
At the end of the event, a working group was created to draw up methodological recommendations for the development of author's educational programs, and the main areas of work for organizing and holding the Junior Skills Championship were developed.
