Deputy Director for Educational Work
Job responsibilities:
Ensures the organization of the educational process;
Organizes current and long-term planning of educational work;
Plan and supervise the activities of senior counselors, extended-day group teachers, class teachers, educational psychologists, social workers, and supplementary education teachers;
Ensures the development of educational documentation, as well as the preparation and implementation of cultural and educational events;
Systematically monitors the quality of the content and implementation of the educational process;
Participates in the selection of teachers, organizes professional development, advanced training, and professional competence of teachers;
Coordinates interactions between the administration, social and psychological services, and departments of educational organizations supporting the educational process, with representatives of the public and law enforcement agencies, representatives of the parent community, and the board of trustees;
Ensures a tolerant culture of behavior for all participants in the educational process;
Coordinates the activities of the psychological service and the process of psychological and pedagogical support for students and pupils, including those with special educational needs;
Ensures new forms of school-parent relationships and full interaction between the school and family;
Monitors the state of medical care for students;
Employs information and communication technologies in educational activities;
Develops cyberculture (utilizes the capabilities of computer technology) and cyberhygiene (possesses skills and knowledge of working on the internet);
Ensures the participation of students and teachers in competitions, rallies, and conferences;
Conducts career guidance;
ensures high-quality and timely submission of reporting documentation;
organizes and conducts pedagogical consultations for parents;
organizes the work of the school parliament, debate movement, student self-government, and the children's organizations "Zhas Qyran" and "Zhas Ulan";
organizes community service activities such as "Service to Society," "Worship of the Motherland," "Respect for Elders," and "Respect for Mother";
coordinates the creation and operation of the educational institution's alumni association;
interacts with veteran teachers;
organizes the work of the educational institution's museum;
organizes hiking trips and excursions;
ensures the development of patriotic education, business communication skills, and a healthy diet among students;
instills an anti-corruption culture and the principles of academic integrity among students, pupils, teachers, and other staff.
Footnote. Clause 58 as amended by Order No. 100 of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 14, 2023 (shall come into effect ten calendar days after its first official publication).
Required knowledge:
The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education," "On the Status of Teachers," "On Combating Corruption," "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan," and other regulatory legal acts defining the directions and prospects for educational development;
the fundamentals of pedagogy and psychology;
the state compulsory education standard, achievements of pedagogical science and practice;
the norms of pedagogical ethics;
the fundamentals of economics, financial and economic activity;
occupational safety and health regulations, fire safety regulations, sanitary rules and regulations. Qualification requirements:
Higher and/or postgraduate pedagogical or other professional education in the relevant field, or a document confirming pedagogical retraining, at least three years of teaching experience;
and/or the qualification category of "Deputy Head of the Third Qualification Category" or "Deputy Head of the Second Qualification Category" or "Deputy Head of the First Qualification Category" of an educational organization, or the qualification of "Expert Teacher" and
