These exams will be held on the basis of schools. Materials for exams and tests are prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The essay takes 3 astronomical hours, algebra and the beginning of analysis – 5 astronomical hours.
1 astronomical hour = 60 minutes.
80 minutes are allocated for testing in each subject.
State final examinations (final certification) of graduates of the 11th (12th) grade is a procedure aimed at determining the degree of mastering by students of the scope of academic disciplines provided for by the state mandatory standard of the appropriate level of education, approved by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Form of conduct: school final exams.
Venue: on the basis of the school where the graduate is studying.
Since 2017, all students of grades 11 (12) of schools in Kazakhstan have passed the state final certification.

How are the final exams in grades 11
- Written examination papers in all classes of the school begin at 9:00 a.m. local time. In exceptional cases, it is allowed to conduct exams in 2-3 streams.
- Packages with essay topics are opened 15 minutes before the start of the exam in the presence of students and members of the school Commission.
- At written exams, the seating of students goes one at a time. Everyone is given a paper with a school stamp. Students who have completed the work, submit it to the Commission together with drafts. If the student did not finish the work in the time allotted for the exam, he passes the work unfinished.
- During the exam, it is allowed to leave the classroom for 5 minutes. The duration of absence is noted by the commission.
- Testing is carried out within the academic subjects with the help of test tasks developed by the Republican State-owned Enterprise "National Testing Center" (hereinafter – NCT) in accordance with the SES. The number and form of test tasks, the form of the answer sheet for testing are determined by the specification of the test in the context of each subject, profile and language of instruction. The specification of the test is developed by the NTC.
- At the end of the written exam and testing, the members of the Commission check the work of students in the school building, except for the work of applicants for certificates of general secondary education "Altyn Belgi".
- Unverified works are deposited with the head of the school. Errors are underlined when checking. In the essay, for the course of general secondary education, the number of errors is indicated separately.
- Written works in mathematics (algebra), rated "2" and "5", are reviewed by the school Commission.
- An essay in the 11th (12th) grade is evaluated with two grades, a written examination paper in mathematics (algebra) for the course of basic and general secondary education – one.
- According to the results of the essay, the grade for spelling and grammar is set for language subjects, the grade for content is set for literature.
- If graduates choose literature from the list of elective subjects for final certification, the assessment is made only for this subject.
- The test results are checked at the school by a Commission formed at the school on the same day on the basis of the correct answer codes provided by them.
- After the final certification of the subject, the Commission issues points and exam marks to students and enters them into the paper and electronic Protocol of the exam for the course of study at the level of basic secondary, general secondary education.
- The results of the final certification of students in the subjects in the form of points are put in the journal (paper / electronic) and are translated according to the scale of translation of exam scores into exam grades.
- Students of grades 11 (12) who received a grade of "2" on the next exam are allowed to take the next exam.

If a student of the 11th (12th) grade received unsatisfactory grades (twos) in one or two subjects, he is allowed to repeat the final certification in these academic subjects in the form of an exam. After passing the repeated final certification, the student receives a certificate of general secondary education. If he is unable to pass the re-certification, he is issued a certificate of incomplete education.
If a student has received unsatisfactory grades in three or more subjects at the final attestation, a certificate of incomplete education is issued to him. A person who has received a certificate of incomplete education undergoes repeated final certification in the relevant subjects in the form of an exam only at the end of the next academic year now. Who is exempt from final certification (state final exams)

- disabled people of group I-II, disabled children, disabled children;
