Еxcursion

On November 7, 2025, ninth-grade students from KSU Secondary School No. 4 visited the Kostanay Department of Internal Affairs Museum. The tour was led by history teacher B. Muratov and physical education teacher N.U. Shumenov, and also featured Deputy Director for Educational Work A.A. Kanafin.
Museum curator Tanatkan Mukhambetovich Delmukhanbetov led the children on a fascinating and informative tour. His knowledgeable narration and clear diction made a great impression on the children. The Kostanay Department of Internal Affairs Museum is rightfully considered one of the best in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the two-hour tour, the students learned about the history of the city and viewed exhibits spanning the period from 1917 to the present. The children were introduced to combat and bladed weapons, rifled and smoothbore guns, and gas weapons. Particular attention was paid to matchlock guns, which are over 300 years old. The students also saw police uniforms and clothing from the last century to the present day. They were struck by the details that illustrated the evolution of law enforcement uniforms and equipment.
At the end of the tour, the students heard stories about heroic police officers and outstanding individuals who grew up and lived in the Kostanay region. These stories inspired the students and reminded them of the importance of law enforcement. They also visited the Central Administration's workstation, where the children were amazed by how visible virtually everything in the city is.
All tour participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the museum curator for the engaging and informative tour, as well as to the organizers for the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of their native region.
