Rules of pedagogical ethics
Chapter 1. General provisions
1. These Rules of Pedagogical Ethics (hereinafter referred to as pedagogical ethics) have been developed in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Status of a Teacher", and are based on generally recognized moral principles, as well as the norms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Pedagogical ethics is a set of general principles and norms of pedagogical ethics, which are guided by teachers of educational organizations.
3. Teachers' knowledge and observance of the provisions of pedagogical ethics is one of the criteria for assessing the quality of their professional activities and work discipline.
4. The text of pedagogical ethics is placed in a place accessible to participants in the educational process.
5. Proceedings against a teacher and decisions taken on their basis may be made public only with his written consent.
Chapter 2. Basic principles of pedagogical ethics
6. The basic principles of pedagogical ethics are:
1) good faith:
the teacher's integrity presupposes his responsibility for the results of training and upbringing, the ability to make adjustments in his activities, a developed ability to criticize and reflect, openness to any opinions, students and pupils, their parents (legal representatives), colleagues;
2) honesty:
The honesty of a teacher presupposes the openness of his assessment activities, the transparency of the educational environment he creates. Honesty prohibits a teacher from violating the rights of students and pupils, their parents (legal representatives), and colleagues;
3) respect for the honor and dignity of the individual:
The teacher respects the honor and dignity of students and pupils, their parents (legal representatives), people who become objects of his professional attention, and is tactful in communicating with them. He sincerely desires the development of the child, shows willingness to always come to his aid, ensures delicacy in assessing the successes (failures) of the student and pupil in order to promote the development of his personal growth.
The use of methods of physical, moral and psychological violence against participants in the educational process is not allowed.;
4) patriotism:
The teacher is devoted and loving to his Homeland - the Republic of Kazakhstan, history, traditions and language. Preserves the cultural and historical traditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, transmits this attitude to students and pupils.
5) respect for universal human values and tolerance:
Recognizing the priority of universal human values, the teacher respects the peculiarities, values and dignity of each national culture.
The teacher fosters a culture of interethnic relations, awakens students to respect the rights and dignity of all nations and all people, regardless of age, gender, language, nationality, religion, citizenship, origin, social, official and property status or any other circumstances;
A teacher's tolerance presupposes tolerance for students and pupils, their parents (legal representatives), tolerance for their social, official and property status, gender, race, nationality, language, attitude to religion, culture, beliefs, place of birth and residence, as well as the ability to understand and take into account the imperfections of students and pupils in their work.
The teacher helps to create a climate of trust and respect in the school community;
6) Professional solidarity:
The teacher cares about the prestige of the profession, respects the honor and dignity of colleagues, and does not allow actions that damage the authority of teaching.
It is not allowed in any form to abuse the trust of their colleagues, prevent them from fulfilling their professional duties, or cause them any harm. The teacher assists colleagues in raising the level of theoretical and methodological skills, in developing creative abilities, and comes to the aid of colleagues in trouble. Professional solidarity cannot serve as an excuse for untruth and injustice.;
7) continuity of professional development:
The teacher improves his professional skills, intellectual, creative and general scientific level.
Chapter 3. Basic norms of pedagogical ethics
7. Teachers in office and off-duty hours:
1) observe the basic principles of pedagogical ethics;
2) contribute to the education of students and pupils in the spirit of high morality, respect for parents, ethno-cultural values, and respect for the outside world;
3) they instill in students a respectful attitude towards their homeland, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and inspire a spirit of patriotism.
4) they do not allow the commission of actions capable of discrediting the high title of teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5) perform their official duties in good faith and with high quality;
6) continuously improve their professional skills, actively engage in self-education and self-improvement;
7) strictly observe labor discipline;
8) they take care of the educational organization's property and do not use it for personal purposes;
9) take measures to prevent corruption, set an example of honesty, impartiality and fairness by their personal behavior;
10) do not allow the use of official information for selfish and other personal purposes;
11) by personal example, they contribute to the creation of a stable and positive moral and psychological environment in the team;
12) adhere to a business style in clothing during the performance of their official duties;
13) avoid using their status as a teacher for selfish and other personal purposes;
14) strictly adhere to the principles of academic integrity in their activities, including ensuring academic integrity as the main institutional value that forms honesty and mutual respect in the academic environment, to show respect by a teacher to his students and pupils as a mentor contributing to the formation of academic culture, to encourage and stimulate participants in the educational process to promote and protect high standards of academic integrity, the teacher's definition of a clear discipline policy, expected requirements from students, ensuring the responsibility of students and taking effective measures for their violation of the principles and standards of academic integrity, creating an academic environment that provides educational, social and psychological support to students and prevents academic dishonesty.;
15) publish materials in the media, including online publications, speak publicly only on their own behalf as a private individual, while ensuring that discussions are conducted in a correct manner, refrain from unconstructive criticism and unethical statements, do not disclose official information that is not allowed to be made public, and do not undermine the high rank of a teacher in society.;
16) public appearances and media publications on behalf of the educational organization are coordinated with the head of the organization.;
17) unverified and (or) unreliable and (or) unethical information is not disseminated on social networks, and they contribute to strengthening the high rank of a teacher in society.;
18) contribute to the implementation of state policy in the field of education and science;
19) ensure the confidentiality of the student's and pupil's successes (failures), their social status, and the place of work of their parents (legal representatives), and this information is disclosed only with the written consent of the parents (legal representatives) of the minor student and/or pupil, or with the written consent of the adult student and/or pupil.
8. In relations with participants in the educational process, teachers:
1) respect the rights, honor and dignity of a person regardless of age, gender, nationality, religion, citizenship, origin, social, official and property status or any other circumstances;
2) address participants in the educational process by name, in a respectful manner, as well as in compliance with generally accepted moral and ethical standards, and do not allow arbitrary distortion in the spelling and pronunciation of the names of participants in the educational process.;
3) they do not allow the facts of financial and other extortion against participants in the educational process, and make efforts to prevent such actions on the part of their colleagues;
4) by their actions they do not give rise to reasonable criticism from society, they tolerate it, use constructive criticism to eliminate shortcomings and improve their professional activities;
5) provide professional support to participants in the educational process;
6) do not discriminate against persons who have filed a complaint about a violation of pedagogical ethics;
9. In relations with colleagues, teachers:
1) observe generally accepted moral and ethical standards, are polite and correct;
2) do not publicly question the professional qualifications of another teacher.
3) refrain from unsubstantiated and unsubstantiated complaints and appeals, and do not take retaliatory measures against the person who complained of a violation of pedagogical ethics.
10. Teachers are held accountable for violations of pedagogical ethics in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
